The course is accredited through the Wilderness Medicine Society, and the full course can award a maximum of 14.5 credits towards a FAWM.

Duration
The course is 3 days (9 am Wednesday - 3 pm Friday) a total of 32 hours, including 8 hours of preparation beforehand.

Certification
Passed course awards the
- Certification in wilderness first aid (Akut Omhändertagande i Vildmark).
- Re-certification in CPR
- Diploma in Expedition Medicine

Inspirerande kurs med bra föreläsningar om höghöjdsmedicin och det akuta omhändertagandet i vildmarken, därtill givande scenario övningar med figuranter ute i skogen. Hemuppgifterna innan gjorde att alla kom pålästa och förbereda. Kursen rekommenderas och är väl investerad tid.
